      1 patient at a time. Only can go as fast as traffic. Time and a half after 8 hours, Double time after 12.

      Svantaggi

      36 hours one week, 48 hours the next. Routinely held over. Poor dispatching. Poor use of resources.

      Healthcare/EMS can be demanding, long hours at times, stressful days, and workload can be heavy depending on staffing and operations. These things aren’t specific to AMR, that’s our industry in general.

      AMR San Mateo is making huge strides in changing the Old Boy culture of EMS. The operation is collaborative, cares for its employees, and acts with accountability.

      Although it's much better than it was, AMR San Mateo still deals with staffing issues, primarily for medics, and forced mandation is still in play.
