      Terrible leadership. Used to be a great place to work not so much anymore so I moved on. Kept hoping the new guy at the top would get it and engage but did not happen. Disappointing to see him and his friends run this place into the ground

      Healthcare/EMS can be demanding, long hours at times, stressful days, and workload can be heavy depending on staffing and operations. These things aren’t specific to AMR, that’s our industry in general.

      AMR San Mateo is making huge strides in changing the Old Boy culture of EMS. The operation is collaborative, cares for its employees, and acts with accountability.

      Although it's much better than it was, AMR San Mateo still deals with staffing issues, primarily for medics, and forced mandation is still in play.
