      Great employee and company relationships. Pay and benefits are a plus. Great locations and able to lateral move to other locations in the US

      A lot of transfers and waiting around in parking lots. Needs to implement more training. But they said they were going to beef it up.

      Healthcare/EMS can be demanding, long hours at times, stressful days, and workload can be heavy depending on staffing and operations. These things aren’t specific to AMR, that’s our industry in general.

      AMR San Mateo is making huge strides in changing the Old Boy culture of EMS. The operation is collaborative, cares for its employees, and acts with accountability.

      Although it's much better than it was, AMR San Mateo still deals with staffing issues, primarily for medics, and forced mandation is still in play.
