      I learned a lot about working in an office setting, and that some people were really well maintained , but it can't be said for all.

      The majority of people were ok but several of the so called "management" in the billing department, were liars and unprofessional. I was mistreated and asked to resign because I stood up for myself.

      Healthcare/EMS can be demanding, long hours at times, stressful days, and workload can be heavy depending on staffing and operations. These things aren’t specific to AMR, that’s our industry in general.

      AMR San Mateo is making huge strides in changing the Old Boy culture of EMS. The operation is collaborative, cares for its employees, and acts with accountability.

      Svantaggi

      Although it's much better than it was, AMR San Mateo still deals with staffing issues, primarily for medics, and forced mandation is still in play.
