Not enough staff in general - a 50hr work week is considered the norm. Culture is that everyone always has too much work and therefore is reluctant to take vacations / days off. Lack of vision / communication from upper management on how career growth can occur here. Lack of middle-management has lead to all employees to find their own solutions - but this has created a myriad of different processes and no way to review what is effective or not. Yearly-reviews do not happen consistently, and pay raises are possible every couple years. No other cost of living adjustments. No diversity in management (family only). Workforce is diverse in ethnic background, but very sectored to their department. Benefits: maternity / parental leave - none healthcare - expensive cost to employee work from home - only available to salespersons (not support staff)
