There are a handful of Managers here who truly care about their employees and want to make things better. Those managers inspire their employees to work hard and make the work day bearable.

Unfortunately the good managers are overshadowed by the other managers who are struggling. There are managers who have never been managers and are really rough around the edges. Their management style is abrasive and frankly makes people not want to deal with them. There are other managers who lie, who make commitments they cannot meet, and who blame others for their downfalls. If this company is ever going to change its culture for the better, they need to start at the top. Also, because things got so out of hand months and years ago with people not following processes, there are now an abundance of processes that make it extremely difficult to complete even the easiest or tasks. What makes it worse is managers who like to put their foot down about who needs to be involved in meetings, yet those same managers either never show up or show up but don't pay attention. It's very disheartening to those of us that actually want to do our jobs the right way and as expeditiously as possible. It's a battle every step of the way. This needs to change.

Fun job. Interesting work. You get to see new products before they hit the market. Great people to work with on the line. Good pay. You get to make machines and kiosks and see them in action in the real world. Floor management is great. If there is a big project to get done, they successfully organize and motivate people to get it done. Free turkey on Tday.

Upper Management and HR terminate great people for stupid attendance reasons, doctor's visits, using sick time under the new Az law. Lots of disorganization as far as schedules. They expect a quota but never have the parts. HR and Upper Management do not put in nearly the hours that the line employees do. Demoralizing. You give 120% effort to be met with 30 % effort from HR and Upper Management. No one gets raises that I have seen.
