I received very little training. They let go the contractor that was training me right before month-end. Month-ends are crazy. You can be there to 10/11 at night b/c it is a very manual system. Only 1 person can post a journal entry at a time. Your journal entries are reviews prior to AND after you post them. I asked for assistance on the monthly report I was responsible for as there was no rhyme or reason to the entries. I never got it until someone complained. Mind you, this was reviews by my manager prior to Mr posting the journal entry. The controller reviewed as well. Nothing was said until then. The senior accountant role was just a title given to get people there. It was no more than a data entry position. Entering copier counts into a spreadsheet. Nothing about this position was senior. The first night of month-end, we got pizza. That was the only night we were feed. You wasnt allowed to leave to get something on the other 3 to 4 nights and we could be there til 10. The Saturday of month end, we had to be there by 7/8 and would be there to 5 or 6. No breakfast, just lunch. A sandwich. I fully u understand that month end can be long, but if you have a better system, it wouldn't have been so bad. Letting us leave early or come in late once the month was closed, would have been nice. No growth.

Weekly policy changes were implemented without advance notice and applied retroactively to all staff rather than addressing specific individuals. Dress code memo prohibited tights for all staff in response to specific individuals, further limiting appropriate clothing options in a warehouse environment. YouTube and visual content prohibited a month into tenure, with audio limited to music only, eliminating mental stimulation (e.g. news, podcast, etc.) during repetitive, isolated work in a locked room. A water bottle used every day for a month without issue and was even complimented by one of the supervisors, suddenly became prohibited according to the same supervisor weeks later (there is no exaggeration here, unfortunately). Book tracking quota requirement was introduced despite significant daily downtime — approximately forty-five minutes each morning and after lunch, waiting to be logged in or for books to arrive yet a daily scanning quota was imposed despite these systemic delays. Management is fickle, unorganized, and lacking competence. The work environment is unpredictable, and staff are set up for failure.
