Risposta di ASC Process Systems
4yThanks for the review. I appreciate that you recognized the good people and the clean work environment. We try our best to give all of our employees a clean and safe place to work. As you know, ASC manufactures autoclaves, ovens, and control systems for the aerospace market. Building custom equipment like this is not easy, especially in an anti-business climate of southern California. It is certainly not a straight-forward think like building widgets in a factory. As such, our schedules are tight, planning is not exact, and most projects are difficult to complete. For those not accustomed to "going with the flow", the work here can sometimes seem chaotic, with priorities often changing depending on which project and which customer needs their equipment first. It does mean that you might be switched between jobs without much notice, and that can feel unbalanced. You mention "trying to hit a moving target with your eyes closed". You're not that far off. From week to week, our customers often hit us blindly with their own changing expectations, and as a result we have to change our planning and work efforts to try to make that a reality. You obviously thought that this "chaos" was random and the result of bad management, but this couldn't be farther from the truth. Our actions are based on thoughtful discussions and attempts to "steer the ship" in the correct direction for our customers. Think of it this way: a ship's captain is trying to negotiate stormy seas - the chaos of turning left, and then right, and then left again is actually the result of experience and smart changes to deal with difficult path. ASC managers are that ship captain, and have to constantly negotiate some pretty stormy seas. Fortunately, as the best autoclave manufacturer in the US, we're still doing things correctly. I'm sorry you didn't see it that way. Good luck with your future career.
