Vantaggi
The people. I have never worked for a company that treated it's employees as well as ASCI does, and they should - the people here are incredible. They definitely sell the "family environment" and such but I have found that to be an accurate assessment time and time again. Most companies say they are this way, but few actually are. When times are tough (like they are now), the company is transparent and fair. Rather than simply do layoffs when oil is $26 a barrel, ASCI has made some tough calls to avoid that... and that builds trust. To me, that is worth the lower wages. It's hard to find a company where you feel like the CEO on down actually care about the employees, and I personally feel like I have found that here. Management also tends not to make knee-jerk reactions (which is nice).
Svantaggi
Higher wages can be found elsewhere (it's a trade off for the environment, IMO). Benefits are a little on the expensive side, but they are fairly easy to customize for individual situations so you only pay for what you need. My guess would be that if oil prices went up, this would get better.
