Vantaggi
The only saving grace is the colleagues on the ground, who are decent people just trying to get through the day.
Svantaggi
Pay is poor and nowhere near enough for the stress involved. • Management is a joke — promotions are based on how long someone’s hung around, not on skill, competence, or leadership ability. • Micromanagement is relentless. I was dragged into a disciplinary for being one minute late back from break. • They obsess over the most trivial things — I ate my lunch in the office once and a manager kept bringing it up for two months. • The culture is suffocating. You’re discouraged from speaking unless it’s strictly about work, and even the smallest personal comforts (things that make no difference to productivity) are treated like major offences. • HR is completely one-sided. If management raises an issue, you don’t stand a chance of defending yourself — their role is purely to protect the company. • The job itself is repetitive, dull, and offers zero progression. Within weeks it feels like a dead end.
