You will have solid performing colleagues but if you want to consistently work with high achievers then this wouldn't be the company for you. Projects move extremely slowly at times. The company miscalculated how much risk it was taking by trying to use blockchain to replace CHESS. They did not plan for a scenario where the blockchain technology did not meet business requirements, and now the company has reversed direction to become very risk averse and focused on reducing costs as much as possible. Jobs at ASX may not be as secure as they once were.
