When you delve deeper into trying to work with companies globally there is a lot of internal red tape, unless you have senior managers on your side. Then the senior managers will squabble internally too. There are certain people who's ideas are listened to and others are completely ignored. There's a big them and us attitude between departments and different countries offices. Finger pointing is rife and Ops/Sales do not get on. Some offices are seen as an after thought. Senior management need to stick to what they say they are going to do and not back track with no explanation. The HR department and Finance/Procurement are really difficult to get answers out of, or to follow up on things they were to do. Nothing can be complained about as they are heavily protected and it comes back to you being the person in the wrong.
