Compensation: base salary is low, and you only get half commissions if you take the salary option (which is often necessary when you first start). They also treat you like an independent contractor; you have to buy your own computer, pay monthly for their digital software, pay for E&O insurance, pay for marketing materials, pay for certain investment platforms, pay for study materials/sit for certification exams, etc.
