Unrealistic deadlines for amendments Amendments themselves are frequently ridiculous and from people who clearly haven’t read the work at all They take ages to put stuff through Quality Control - and then put the pressure on the writer to turn it around. Regularly takes a week for a brief to be sent back, then pressure will be put on you to get it out to the client in a matter of hours because the clients expecting the work back and they’ve taken ages to turn it around. Sorry - that’s an issue with your process, not mine, don’t put the pressure on me! It can be a nice earner but only if you don’t have any other commitments at all. If you do have any other commitments at all, working with Academic Knowledge is not easy. Other companies out there are better
