-Growing pains- company was formed from many smaller companies, implementing corporate standards across all can lead to some hiccups. HR on-boarding issues, reporting standards etc. But management is making progress. -Frequently making new acquisitions which has a tendency to preoccupy executives for periods of time

I learned a lot about Human Resources and the cost of benefits. I also learned about different types of compensation such as worker's compensation. I also learned about private equity companies and what happens during acquisitions.

Being an intern, I couldn't see very much. After about a month my learning came to a stop. I was only being given grunt work. I would have liked to been given more serious projects. People within the company were not very open to change.
