      Employees come from diverse backgrounds creating a rich work environment

      Accenture is fast becoming unsuitable for employees who want to pursue a business consulting career. The firm is becoming a markedly IT focused firm and core business and management consulting opportunities and advancement potential for business consulting individuals is becoming scarce due to very limited work sold in this area. This imbalance is becoming so marked that employees with a business consulting background are increasingly expected by Management to do IT contractor work as IT work is now Accenture's "Bread & Butter".

      There are a lot of pros working for Accenutre. They have great career opportunities, a never ending supply of interesting work, competitive compensation, wonderful benefits, great people, wonderful training programs, a tremendous number of brilliant professionals in their fields ready to help, and great core values.

      This is not an opportunity for those that do not want to work. At Accenture everyone has a load of work to do and often times under very tight customer time lines. It is a challenge that I enjoy but many might find it stressful.
