On the interview day, I was told that there are plenty of projects that match my profile and intentions as a full-stack web developer, using the same technical stack I had worked with before. However, once I joined, they unexpectedly assigned me to an incredibly poorly managed project with an outdated technical stack that didn't align with my expertise. I was supposed to perform tasks more suited for a DevOps profile. After discussing the issue with managers, HR, and the so-called people lead, they assured me that they were actively seeking the right project for me. Unfortunately, I ended up waiting for months without any progress. Each time I inquired about the status of my request, they introduced me to a new person to discuss the matter, leaving me feeling like I was back at square one. It was disheartening to be met with responses like, "What is your problem already?" from various individuals. Eventually, I came to the conclusion that they were not genuinely trying to find a solution for my situation. I found myself stuck on a project that I was extremely unhappy with, and it seemed like they were content with that situation. Working in such an environment was disheartening, and I felt that big promises and lies were told during the interview day. The reality of Industry X.0 Accenture projects was far from what was presented. Regardless of the role mismatch, throughout my entire career, I have never experienced such a poorly organized project, with such low quality and unnecessary stress. I hope this feedback will help someone else who might find themselves in a similar situation.
