Vantaggi
Promotes from within in most cases. If an available position is open and you've shown you're qualified, you can quickly move from one position to another...other than district manager.. that's difficult. In the 3 years I worked there I only met one two female DMs. Depending on the size of the store, your day is pretty easy going. The first two maybe even 3 hours of the day is making collection calls and verifying folders but after that the middle of the day is a few marketing calls and possible agreements until your second round of calls. Raises are given every 6 months If your store if profitable you can receive bonuses- Sales Manager and Assistant Paid Weekly Great insurance and Benefits Depending on the store you're working in.. it could be just you with one or two immediate co workers in your area outside of the client's sales people
Svantaggi
Work/Life balance is hard in some of the larger stores. If the store isn't open past 6pm in order for you to get your required 48hrs you'll work 6 days/wk. You work all holidays except Christmas and Thanksgiving District managers are just there to say they did a monthly visit. If your store is struggling they will make a few calls from their cell BUT do not give any real guidance to help outside of Making more calls to dead numbers (This was my experience with 4 District Managers between two States and 3 districts)
