New employees are given a dated set of pages outlining some mostly common sense rules, but not much more. Required apps to be downloaded for the job are not self-explanatory, and there was no effort to review them with you. Instead, you were later told what you failed to do. There are both local and regional (national?) dispatchers. You may be called by one or both with changes to travel arrangements for the same client, and the changes might not be the same, which requires pulling over and getting clarification, which adds time. Rather than meet with an employee to discuss perceived concerns and to guide them, they might just fire you over the phone, thereby 1) flushing the time already invested in an employee, and 2) reinventing the wheel by hiring someone else who will also struggle with not knowing what they don't know due to spotty new employee training.
