Great place to work, work environment is very impressive

See parts of your state that you wouldn't otherwise. People love to mug for the camera, that's entertaining. Ops manager (everyday contact/supervisor) was good to work with and easygoing. Generally decent hotels (Best Western, Wingate) when map is over an hour away.

The communication needs major work. I was informed of the online training days with very short notice & had to burn my old job so I could make the training times. My job offer said $30 per diem when on hotel mode but they cut it to $25 without telling anyone and took the money out of my check retroactively. The mapping/GPS equipment was slow, outdated, and inaccurate. GPS system cannot read directions to you as you drive, you have to look at this old, low contrast touch screen which is impossible to see in daylight. Dangerous. Had to knock on the camera mast motor with a hammer to get it to raise & lower the camera. The guy who processes receipts kept trying to charge me when my receipt wasn't "itemized", though you can't really help how the receipts look. I was charged $40 of gas because I went to a small gas station in a tiny desert town with really basic receipts and they wouldn't accept the receipt.
