With the great product, comes egotistical staff which believe in a hierarchical structure that has failed them many times. In my years at working for AF, I saw great potential in the company, which they failed to deliver every time due to ego (really). It is a poisonous political environment driven by who's side you take, rather than the importance of the work and company loyalty/dedication. They do not pay you well, there are no benefits outside of health/dental (no 401k, etc) and they expect you to give in 130% when they barely give you any in return.
Activ had great potential a few years back. It is now a sinking ship with many competitors who are putting them to shame. Activ has been out-niched due to their static and ignorant way of adopting with the financial industry technical trends.
last time I checked their employee's on LinkedIn, I was baffled to see some of the tittles that certain people now have :)
