Svantaggi
- 9-5 company i.e you can put in minimal effort and get by - If you don't agree with senior management on strategies and work related topics, your path to career progression is limited - Promotions are skewed across teams - some folks get promoted extremely fast and some folks don't get promoted for years. This has also led to inflated titles for individuals who have been at the company. - Bureaucracy amongst teams - As a growing company there's definitely some "red tape" amongst teams and team members. To resolve issues, teams tend to create more processes rather than fixing the problem. - Due to the nature of the company, it can get really hard to challenge co-workers on work related tasks or decisions. - Diversity and inclusion sometimes seems like a facade. Yes, company strongly encourages hiring of minorities and embraces ethnic culture and celebrations. They also support employees speaking up on cultural movements and frequently donate to organizations that help bring cultural movements forward. However, when it comes to levelling up internally, especially for upper management, it seems like caucasian folks are preferred over minorities.
