Thank you for highlighting AdKarma’s great atmosphere and our helpful, dedicated team members. We are lucky to have such wonderful people at AdKarma that work hard to ensure our new team members are welcomed with open arms! To address a few of your other comments – management works hard to ensure that every team member has a clear understanding of their responsibilities, tasks and performance goals. I’m sorry if your experience at the company did not align with this objective. Our managers are dedicated to providing quality feedback to team members in one-on-one and in team meetings and are always readily available to answer questions or talk about any issue someone wants to raise.
With regard to training, we are always looking for new ways to improve our training process. While we realize that everyone learns things differently and at a different pace, the company works to ensure that refresher training sessions are set up, one-on-one shadowing exercises are scheduled and follow-ups with our new team members are done to gather feedback on how training went for each individual.
Furthermore, we will always strive to explore and exhaust all available business options that meet our company’s philosophies and practices in order to reach our revenue and profit goals as a company. As part of a publicly traded company, we owe that to the shareholders who own stock in RhythmOne and have put their faith in us, and in some cases, life savings in the stock. We should seek to perform at the highest level every day not only for ourselves personally, but also for the shareholders who own stock in RhythmOne.
In terms of company culture, culture means different things to different people, and we firmly believe that we all have a hand in creating our company’s culture. Though three of the four founding members of AdKarma are not millennials, we have worked hard over the years to create a culture that is in line with what millennials want and an environment in which they truly excel in. Millennials are the #1 reason our company has reached the level of success that it has over the years. Our company would not have become what it is today without having a strong company culture – one based on professional courtesy, teamwork and mutual respect, one based on driving success and excellence for our clients and partners, one based on supporting and being accessible to our team members any way that we can, one based on recognizing the achievements and contributions of our team members, one based on accountability, one based on hard work, one based on giving our team members the freedom and trust to pave their own road to success, etc. These have always been the company’s core values, and it is from these core values that we built our culture. We’re not a “one or two liner company motto” type company, where the motto will be forgotten after a few weeks. Our foundation and culture has bred enormous success for us, and it will continue to do so in the future. I’m sorry that our culture did not fit what you were looking for, but I hope you find the culture that is right for you as you move along your career path. -- Best, Ann Wilhelm, SVP Operations
