I started out as contract, and was then taken on permanently at the back end of last year. I have to admit, it has been like a roller coaster ride but also very enjoyable and most challenging. It is a good workplace to grow for people that are new to the company. I still have a lot to learn when it comes to this industry and I am enjoying each new challenge put before me. I strive to meet my deadlines and take great pride in the smallest of achievements, each one of these will help me move on to bigger and better successes. We all have to learn to take the rough with the smooth and be able to manage our workflow/life styles to achieve a healthy balance. I try to achieve this on a daily basis, though there is always room for improvement. Great people and work environment, the work can be demanding but not overbearing. When interacting with other colleges, everyone is friendly and helpful. Managers are not harsh or abusive, they expect you to keep moving forward but provide great guidance and advice when you may need it. There is a great support network amongst the senior management team. I do believe in their vision, culture, values and especially Safety which is all part of us working together and growing into a successful organization.

The only thing I can say is a con is that, former Chemtura employees are not letting go of the past. Addivant is a new vibrant, energetic, enthusiastic company with so much to offer for everyone. I constantly hear of comparisons and this is where people, need to forget the past and work together with Addivant on building a brighter more profitable future.
