Leadership lacks direction and has moved away from the original purpose of serving the community of the membership. Just ask how many members actually attend the membership meeting. Every member should have a say in the direction of the organization. That is what makes a credit union different than other types of financial organizations. They do the absolute minimum required to announce and make the membership meeting available to members. Survey the members and see how many of them actually are aware that they have this right and duty. It is not made known to them. This has led to the organization moving farther and farther away from its original purpose. Senior leadership has been under tremendous turnover. How many Chief Credit Officers has it had in the last 5 years? 10 years? I think it is 6. That is a tenure of less than 2 years each. Why is that?

I wouldn’t recommend this company to anyone. The CEO will congratulate you on your pregnancy then let you go at 6 MONTHS PREGNANT. They have managers that sit on their phone all day and when the work piles up and the deadlines are due, they pass along their work to lower levels employees. So if you’re looking for manager experience without the pay, this is your place. The CEO has put managers in charge that have no experience and provide them with no training, leading to poor management skills such as: refusal to answer simple yes or no questions but then micromanaging you in areas you don’t need help. You then have new hire executives that speak poorly about others publicly in mass emails to their higher managers.
