The company has been trying to transition from an Autodesk software reseller business to a professional services consulting organization with limited success. Although, the company has been very profitable, profits are reinvested in the company to launch new products/divisions, while little is invested in creating a rewarding work culture. Advanced Solutions is cheap with its employees. Salaried pay is well below median market rates. Bonus programs are offered (for some) to make up the difference, but they are based on stretch goals that managers set with little to no input from employees. Paid time off is sub par. It takes 6 years to earn 3 weeks. 401(k) is offered, but no match is guaranteed. 2016 match was only 1.5% and given at the end of the year instead of each pay period. One year, the match was skipped despite "record profits". The company follows an antiquated "rank and review" process which stack ranks unrelated positions against each other. Comp increases are tied to this system. No employee events are offered. The holiday party consists of a potluck lunch (no joke). Employee morale is low, and turnover is high. Many employees are looking elsewhere.
