My team on-site were amazing. My technicians, my planner, everyone that worked directly for me on my team. I stayed as long as I did solely because of them.
Svantaggi
I got hired on to run a very troubled site. This was by far the worst employment experience I have ever had. The contract itself was vague and my leadership team did not provide any clarification on how to enforce it. There were side emails that existed long before I came along that went outside of the contract that apparently I was supposed to know about and continue to honor. My boss would ask "Is there anything you need from me?" and I would tell him I needed help with x, y, and z and he's say ok, then provide me with "help" that did not address any of those things. My boss would then openly belittle me in front of my team and my peers for not executing the portion of the contract that I asked for help with and constantly tell me what a terrible leader I was. I complained to HR and not one person who witnessed these interactions spoke up for me. Shortly after my complaint, I was put on an improvement plan and all associated "witnesses" got some sort of promotion. Including my boss. I also had a site manager in my group go in my database and delete PdM routes and the PM portion of the contract I ran without my knowledge to make it look like I was really failing at my job shortly after my complaint. I had another site manager "train" me to do unethical reporting of maintenance at my site. I'm not sure if it was because I was a woman or if they just really needed a scapegoat. I wanted to run my site with integrity and care in order to turn it around, but it was impossible to do based upon how shady leadership above me operated. Multiple men in leadership positions who talked to their direct reports in an unprofessional way retained their employment with ATS and were just moved to another role. They reward dishonesty, unprofessionalism, and lack of ethics. At least the group I was a part of. Never in my life have I been a part of such a shady company. I see quite a few great reviews and it's disheartening that those experiences were not mine. It boils down to WHO my ABM was and why he was allowed to act the way he did towards his site managers and their teams. I am not the only one who left the company because of his unprofessional and misinformed public rants.
