Vantaggi
Training is adequate. Paycheck arrives on time.
Svantaggi
Where to begin. The GlobalProtect VPN crashes daily, the RDS disconnects mid-call, QueueMetrics goes down without warning, and 3CX drops calls constantly. Management's response to every single infrastructure complaint? A thumbs up emoji and "IT team is on it." Spoiler: IT never fixes anything.
Your supervisor will call you "bro" in professional communications, post motivational acronym posters while the entire team can't log in, and then have the audacity to raise daily call targets without adjusting compensation - expecting $16/hour output for $14/hour pay on systems that barely function.
Don't be fooled by the 4.4 Glassdoor rating. Scroll through those reviews and notice how many are from overseas offices with entirely different working conditions. US remote employees experience something considerably less "too Good."
If you enjoy being gaslit about systemic failures, blamed for infrastructure you can't control, and managed by someone whose primary supervisory skill is the thumbs up reaction - welcome aboard.
Advice to Management: Fix the infrastructure. Pay people what the workload demands. And for the love of God, "IT team is on it" is not a solution.
