Vantaggi
Adventure Life has hired some really great people that are fun to work with. Everyone in the office is adventurous, ambitious and hard-working. The work is very independent with little day-to-day supervision. The job is challenging and you will learn a lot. If you stick with Sales (Trip Planner) for several years you can make decent money for Missoula. The benefits package is pretty good and increases the longer you stay. Can be a really fun work environment when you aren't drowning in emails/calls.
Svantaggi
The workload is almost always too much and the job can be very stressful. You need to be intensely focused every hour on the clock, there is no downtime at Adventure Life. You will be lucky to work 40 hours a week; overtime is basically a necessity to do the job well. Company-wide organization, training and quality control is severely lacking. Operations is a dead-end job with limited earning potential, if you want to make decent money you have to move to Sales. Adventure Life has experienced a lot of changes and growth recently, yet the management structure has not kept up. Taking time off can be challenging , especially in your first year if you plan to take an Adventure Life trip. (emails/call will pile up in your absence, limited number of days off, need to coordinate with other team members, etc.)
