Svantaggi
Leadership is the main issue and it affects everything. The CEOs behaviour often feels intimidating. Communication can be sharp, dismissive and undermining, especially if you make a mistake or don’t immediately agree with her. There’s a sense of being spoken down to rather than supported. There is also very obvious favouritism. Some people are clearly treated very differently to others. If you are liked, you are protected. If you are not, it feels like you are constantly under scrutiny. This creates an environment where people are anxious, avoid speaking up, and worry about saying the wrong thing. The CEO is inconsistent in her involvement with the business, but when she is involved she micromanages heavily. Decisions change without warning, feedback is contradictory, and expectations aren’t clear. This makes it difficult to do your job confidently and leaves people feeling on edge. Recent redundancies have made this atmosphere worse. The process left left many people were left feeling disposable. It reinforced the feeling that job security can depend more on personal relationships than performance. Pay is below market for the workload and responsibility expected. People take on a lot, often beyond their role, but salaries don’t reflect this. Overall, this could be a great place to work, but the culture created by leadership makes it stressful and emotionally draining,
