There really wasn't any pros

I went to Affinity in Ft Lauderdale about a position close to me in Hollywood and spoke to a recruiting agent. He told me the job only paid 10 an hour and described it as being a revolving door type of position. He said he had another warehouse position opening soon and I could do this job until that one opened up (which I think was bull). I did the job for one night and messaged him that it really was not the kind of work I was looking for. It was looking for imperfections in plastic bottles for the whole shift. Nothing else. That definitely was not the job description that was told to me. He described it as a picker/packer type job. I asked him to please try to find me something else and he said OK. I have 20 years of shipping and receiving experience so I was looking for something similar. That all happened on July 27th and it is now August 23th and I still haven't been paid for that. He gave me another number and said she can find out what's going on because she's more aggresive than him...what does that even mean? This woman took my information 2 weeks ago and I haven't heard from her since. Won't return calls and still no pay. She had told me that she would have to verify my hours, but I don't think it takes a month to verify hours and why haven't they done that yet anyways?? So after not being able to get a hold of anybody and no returned calls I called the job I had been sent to and said that Affinity said they were having trouble verifying my hours so could they please let Affinity know I was there so I could get paid for the day. Of course they had no idea what I was talking about and all hours had been verified. Five minutes later I get a call from the agent saying that my hours have been verified and I will be getting paid this Friday. Totally do NOT recommend this agency at all. Go somewhere else.
