High turnover of management. New management every 3 to 6 months High turnover of staff. Every time I went to mandatory training everyone was a new starter Poor leadership with no support for staff Poor communication. Can never get managers on the phone On Call system with no clue as to how to give advice ‘ if they even answer. You are in the business of supporting people but staff don’t seem to count as people. Don’t expect to get any progression in salary, position or training beyond NVQ3 even if you stay with the company for over 10 years. As soon as Affinity Trust handed services back to the council, staff were left to run services with zero backup or support. But, I realised we did a better job without the negative input and criticism of overworked managers trying to stick to impossible deadlines.
