Vantaggi
You’ll become a Slack power user in record time. If you’ve ever dreamed of learning sales by trial and error, this is your bootcamp. Free front-row seat to a live audition of “Tony Robbins: The Community Theater Edition.” The drama around the office could rival a Netflix reality series (entertainment value included in your paycheck). You’ll never complain about boring training at your next job—because nothing will ever top “no training at all.”
Svantaggi
When you first come on board, they really roll out the red carpet for you: You’re amazing! This is going to be the best job you’ve ever had! Fast forward 48 hours and you’re sitting at your desk with a phone with zero idea on what to do next. Training here is like a choose-your-own-adventure book. Management? Imagine Bigfoot. They swear it exists, but it’s no where in sight. Communication mostly happens on Slack, which makes it feel like you’re in a long distance relationship that you didn’t sign up for. To “help”, they brought in a motivational speaker who mostly motivates themselves. Lots of stories about how great and successful they are. Lots of stories about how much money they charge for to give speeches. They desperately want to be Tony Robbins, except this version talks about themselves for hours on end, drops the mic and walks off stage. Leaving everyone confused and wondering where the actual training was. Meanwhile, the sales meetings are so dry they could be classified as a drought. And the office vibe? Let’s just say HR could probably open a side business as a dating app with all the “networking” going on.
