Leadership will tell you that “Prospects are liars” but this is truly them projecting their own management style onto others. The truth is that you should question everything said to you and read all the fine print! Be cautious to being coerced to write positive online reviews. They seem to always want to cover up the truth and double down on their failures. They do this early on and just after a raise to guilt someone. Micromanagement is out of control. Literally you will find yourself on team calls trading off reading aloud emails in turn line by line. Imagine being in 2nd or 3rd grade. Don’t be surprised when at the end of the month or quarter your boss ruins the relationship you built with your prospect in desperation for closing a sale. They seem to constantly interpret their comp plan differently at the end of the month or their discretion. Fear, failure, and lies are what drives this company and despite their recent layoffs the very people who created this mess, remain in power. When a tornado rolled through Ottawa they did nothing for their employees there. When people leave the organization, they are prevented from telling anyone and no mention or acknowledgement is ever made. You’ll see who leaves when randomly their name disappears off slack. Everyone who has left has found greener pastures and their only regret was not seeing the signs/acting sooner. You are a number and nothing more. Their disregard for family and kids during holidays, vacation, sick time, or even Presidents Club is baffling. Listen for the carrot that they dangle in front of you. It never existed.
