The boss was pretty strict with us

If you don't have any other work experience and attend/graduated from a prestigious school, this would be a fine place to get something on your resume. They also give Christmas/New Year's bonuses which is nice. Management will stand up for you if parents are being delusional .

The boss is very strict and will not pay you overtime for lunch/after hours even if you are still expected to watch the kids until they get picked up/while they're eating. Kids are also out of control. Beware if you don't speak Mandarin, they will talk about you behind your back (Management gossiped about non-Chinese colleagues to nepo favorites and parents). Quit after a few months because the low pay did not justify the treatment. That's why they're constantly hiring and there's a revolving door of young workers.
