Our pay structure is based on the position. We have completed research and confirmed our pay is competitive, if not better then the standard for the industry. It can be difficult to staff appropriately in our industry given the volatility in today’s market. We have been fortunate enough to only experience 3 layoffs in the past 18 years and the most recent one was over 3 years ago which was far less then other companies. It would be impossible to have multiple associates out at any given time. However, we do provide a calendar for associates to be able to plan their time off in advance to avoid multiple associates off at a time. For those individuals familiar with our industry, there are high volume periods when overtime is expected of associates. The mortgage industry isn’t for everyone and we are very clear in interviews of the expectation of overtime. We continue to upgrade our technology to keep up with the changes.
