The option to accept and decline jobs as it fit my personal schedule was brilliant, it really helped me balance my work/life and allowed me to take time off should I need it for appointments, etc.

I don't know where to start. The communication was appalling, everything was communicated through WhatsApp which you'd expect would make it simple and quick but quite often when requesting jobs or asking questions about jobs they would leave the messages on seen and not reply on time or at all. A lot of the housekeeping supervisors were downright rude and cocky when messaging, though some were absolutely lovely. Jobs could be cancelled last minute, for example I once travelled over an hour to a job just to be told it was cancelled (10mins after I was due to start but couldn't get in as there was no key), just for them to ask me to travel another 2hrs to a property elsewhere in London and with nothing in return for my time they wasted. Even the CEO apologised to myself for the way the housekeeping supervisors ran things - perhaps he should speak up to them a bit more? :) They use an app called "AirTasker" to hire people to clean for them if none of their own employees are available. I cleaned for them this way on one occasion (Christmas Eve, in fact) and they never sent the payment through. I got locked out of the property due to a faulty lock on the door and the communication was beyond a joke - I had to keep calling back just to be told "we MIGHT send a locksmith". They eventually sent someone and then had the cheek to ask if I'd continue the clean after I'd already spent three hours waiting outside the property, though I did so as the owners were friendly people. For 4-5months I was requesting the payment for this job but got absolutely no response. I ended up having to message the Airtasker app who released the payment for me.
