Learning curve is very steep as it is normal to throw new hires into the deep end - in that sense your growth will be tremendous. Staff discounts are not bad (but not the best either). Colleagues are cordial and polite, culture is laid back and projects are OTOT (at the same time, eats into company productivity).

Management has serious issues with transparency and does not know how to communicate to employees on the simplest issues. Job insecurity is at an all-time high and employees are leaving by the hoards. Those who has not left have already seen a few rounds of retrenchment, with no clarity on whether their job is safe or still on the line. Things work very weirdly here - HR does the dirty job of announcing retrenchment to affected employees, yet the big bosses in senior management are nowhere to be found. Terrible way of working. This company is definitely already going downhill (it has been even before COVID), with outdated policies and long-winded processes. It may be a desired employer in UAE & MENA, but definitely not in Asia due to distasteful business management at the top. And did I also mention that there is no guaranteed increment OR bonus?
