Vantaggi
Alderman has one of the largest studio facilities on the east coast. There is plenty of space to roam during the day and people to talk to. You are not confined to an office, which is nice. The space allows for community and collaboration. Free coffee in the break room, long lunch and multiple breaks. If you are a designer, photographer, or on the set up crew, you get to travel from time to time to different destinations for photoshoots. The days are long but the shoots are exciting. The majority of co-workers are friendly.
Svantaggi
If money is what you are chasing, this is not the place to work. Raises are far and few between, even if you are a talented employee. There are no ways to move up in the company. You are either the manager or the employee (and all of the manager positions were filled over a decade ago and those managers will be there until they retire). Management dictates what employees work on what projects (favoritism comes in to play, unfortunately) and also screens what the client ultimately sees, and that can be limiting in creativity and opportunity. The studio is physically dark and you do not see outside all day unless you leave at lunch.
