If you are willing to take the initiative and put in the work, you'll go far here. The management team is big on self-improvement and promoting from within. The people here are exceptional. We want to hang out together. It's not uncommon to see table top games in the break room or go out for drinks with co-workers for a birthday. Everyone is incredibly nice and accepting of any and all diversity. It's rare to ever feel uncomfortable here.

You won't be given anything here just because you have a degree. Many without degrees have become engineers. Many with degrees don't have technical roles because they simply aren't a good fit. It's impact over title, and that doesn't mesh with everyone. Sometimes it can get stressful, but that's true everywhere.

People smile at you and there is free coffee in the break room. Kitchen in the break room if you want to cook real food. Widespread familiarity of video games and pop culture. Dogs are allowed to visit sometimes. Good health insurance benefits.

Extremely limited legal knowledge and etiquette. PTO is slow to accrue. Concerns and suggestions are taken as personal attacks. Noisy building with little unoccupied space for phone calls, etc. Bad phone and internet service in much of the building. Sadistic and pugnacious individuals have free rein to do as they wish. Limited parking space. Insistence on misunderstanding and refusal/inability to understand people with different life experiences. Bias in enforcement of rules. Overgrown small company with a cliquish, small-town attitude.
