A Career Dead End - Recensione dipendente - Senior Manager presso Alight Solutions

Alight is a career graveyard. For newer employees, either young or experienced, Alight offers no career prospects. You will work hard, perform well and collect your 2% annual raise with no potential for promotion or opportunity. Many colleagues will never have a conversation with their manager about their career. Managers just don't care and neither does leadership. I came here as an experienced colleague, having worked in several fields at a variety of companies. I have never seen such low morale and a leadership team that cares as little about the company's workforce as here. The work is uninteresting and very repetitive. If you want to perform the same dull tasks day after day with no hope of promotion or opportunity, Alight might be for you. If you care about your career and have ambition, anywhere else would be better. Layoffs are frequent, every few months the company does some sort of reorganization which leadership calls "refining our strategy", but it's pretty obvious they are just throwing darts at a board hoping something will stick and don't have a real plan. It's just an excuse to lay off more people. Clients are leaving. It's just a mess.
