Vantaggi
Parking is provided, and laptops are available if needed. The office has a kitchen equipped with essentials like cutlery, a coffee machine, a fridge, and a few other conveniences (though snacks and drinks aren’t stocked). Most employees are professional, friendly, and easy to work with, as long as you avoid the occasional workplace gossip. Managers generally maintain good relationships with their teams and ensure everyone stays on track. The benefits are decent, PTO is generous, and depending on your role, you may have opportunities to travel—with flights and hotel accommodations covered by the company.
Svantaggi
The strict 9–5:30 in-office schedule feels outdated, especially considering the “basic” pay. Offering at least one remote workday per week would make a significant difference. Raises are minimal, and promotions can take far too long to materialize. In recent months, the company’s direction has been questionable. Employee turnover is high, while new BDMs and upper-level positions seem to appear out of nowhere—even as management claims there’s no budget to give loyal employees (some with over five years of service) raises. The office building itself is outdated: fire alarms disrupt work almost weekly, making it difficult to concentrate. The bathrooms are also in poor condition, particularly the women’s restroom, where the A/C doesn’t work, the humidity is unbearable, and the facilities are unclean. Onboarding is rushed and unstructured. New hires are overloaded with information in their first week and expected to know their assignments without proper training. There is no dedicated HR department, which the company desperately needs. Diversity is another issue, despite our diverse clientele—only a small handful of employees are not Hispanic. Since introducing global positions, the company’s structure and atmosphere have changed drastically. New policies and changes feel arbitrary, creating a workplace where many feel like they’re walking on eggshells. Experienced staff frequently provide professional advice, only to have their ideas dismissed immediately even management struggles to work with the new direction. Overall, there are very few perks to balance out these issues.
