Svantaggi
There was a security guard who came in at about 5PM every day. His eyes were always blood shot red and he reeked of marijuana. He was also operating one of the vehicles. You had to pass a drug test to work here. This was completely indicative of the kind of environment this company had. I was BARELY trained. I asked for help multiple times. I was there over 40 hours a week for nearly a month working 6 days a week on average-10+ hours a day. According to the Teams meetings I was on about a certain project, that wasn't good enough. I was their proverbial punching bag. My supervisor was well aware and he did not care. If I had spoken to any member of management that way, I would have been fired or at the very least, written up. My supervisor called me on my PERSONAL PHONE while I was in the bathroom a few times. I was hourly-I skipped breaks nearly every day during my last month there. I was also asked to work 7 days a week, 10 hour days for the last two weeks I was there. There was another HR coordinator there and since she had worked there for so long, she could pretty much do whatever she wanted. She was so stressed she left a couple of ties. She even took her laptop home and worked from home. She claimed she wasn't paid to do so. She was new to the role and was a kind of supervisor beforehand for several years. Her husband also worked there. He was very kind and helped as much as he could. I know they were both stressed. While I can understand being overwhelmed (which she was, absolutely) she was busy with the office in Indiana and had a bad attitude. I also asked her for help and was too busy to show me things, most of the time. A typical day started with a phone conference which you had to be on. This was going on at the same time while you were trying to setup the conference room for new employees & check people in (who were VERY ignorant to staff and pretty much did not care, save for a few older people who understand what a job is). If you weren't on the phone for the report, you were in trouble. If you didn't answer the questions on the report you were in trouble. Part of the report was getting a hold of candidates for orientation. If you couldn't get a hold of the candidates, the sales people called you afterwards and berated you. They also told my boss, You also had to work on this report, with over 100 lines, all day. More babysitting on the candidates. There was also a larger conference room filled with even more candidates who came in to do the 20 hour training-they sat for about 9 hours as day. This was a full time babysitting job. They were viewing a free, live video training. The amount of times I had to ask people to quiet down was just outright ridiculous. I felt like I was a teacher in a 6th grade class. No one conducted themselves as an adult. If I asked people to leave or stop, I was met with people giggling and acting like children.
