Vantaggi
-Great people at Allstate Canada -Room for advancement -RRSP matching 100% up to 7% of pay -Many 100% WFH positions
Svantaggi
-New CEO London Bradley and leadership not trusted by employees (London comes across as an inauthentic, disingenuous salesman), employees feel Allstate Canada does not care about it’s employees -Workload (perpetually understaffed and overworked) -After recent realignment work has been moved all over the place with directors and managers not sure what is going on, people doing work they should not -Pay not as high as other Canadian Insurers (candidates turn down lower paying offers for other Canadian insurers who pay more) -Benefits, pensions and RRSP matching levels have been slashed -No bonus paid to employees in 2022 after a few years of hyping this new bonus system, employees feel misled even though directors and VPs get paid bonus from U.S. parent company. CEO and VPs reportedly went to retreat on Niagara-on-the-Lake the weekend after announcing no bonus to employees (talk about being tone deaf) -Technology and systems outdated and among worst in industry -This company used to be great, lost it’s Best Employer in Canada ranking (10 years in a row) a few years ago. Need to listen to employees. -Years of filling out monthly and quarterly employee (barometer) surveys result in little change -Few to none team building exercises
