Vantaggi

No company is completely devoid of things that it has attempted to help with enhancing the work environment for its employees. Alorica is no different in this conclusion, as there are a number of things during this transition that have given me more knowledge to improve on this company’s profits: Encouraged to become Scrum Certified Fairly Flexible Scheduling The Embrace of some Cloud Technologies

Svantaggi

The day my youngest daughter was born, my newborn daughter was asleep with myself, along with my wife in the hospital. My daughter was not 6 hours old, when my then VP had my then manager call me directly while I was in the hospital – all because a client had an outage. I did not answer the phone, and everyone on the team received a “If you are out of the office, you will make sure your phone is charge and not on vibrate” message. Alorica is a very demanding company to work for, with little to nothing to compensate people for their time spent outside of work. The suite I worked in had rodents, cockroaches, and other pests. It took months for us to get a refrigerator in this suite. We’d had numerous issues with the drain clogging up. There wasn't an ice maker on our floor. When going outside, I observed agents that were dressed extremely unprofessionally. I have no idea how much Alorica pays in for its insurances per employee, due to a certain lack of transparency by this company. This is yet another example of a company that is not investing wisely in its employees. Attempted to steal paid time off from employees. In December of 2015, we all received an email from the CEO that was basically a pat on the back, then less than a week later, another email revoking a bunch of PTO from people. I tried to leave my email and contact information with Andy Lee after I left, to go over reasons why I left the company. I got no response from either of them. When we were first bought out by Alorica, Andy Lee came to Omaha to meet with us. I shook his hand, and asked him, “Are you going to be an owner that we see?” His reply was, “Let me say that, I am interested in what you do.” In some places, a handshake is more than just a hand shake - it's an agreement between two parties. Mr. Lee and his company reneged on the agreement in my opinion.
