Good company Good technology - Recensione dipendente - Software Engineer presso Altia

Altia is a small company, less than 100, that does really big things in the automotive space. There was always excitement with the next big project for the big auto makers, and the talent in this company was the best I ever worked with. Executives are great coaches and set the example of of the culture, especially respect. The work is challenging but anyone in the staff was generous with their time to help. Altia has a global presence much larger than other similar companies.

Altia seems like a 30 year old start up, with some things like onboarding and structure clearly defined in something like an employee handbook. When I left they were putting that in place.

Altia makes software that drives displays in cars like Ferrari, Ford, Jaguar/Land Rover, Jeep, Chrysler and many, many more - not to mention medical devices like those from Medtronic and consumer electronics from companies like Whirlpool. It's very cool to get to work on something that actually gets used in the real world - and to be able to show your family "what you do all day!"

Nothing really comes to mind. I've seen some of the other "Cons" comments here and they don't really resonate with me as a current Altian. Altia is a company that is trying to change the world for the better and there is a lot of work to be done. Not everyone is a good fit for Altia and these comments seem like what you would expect from someone who had to move on.
