My time at Amazingmail.com was truly an amazing experience! The CFO and Executive VP are actually incredible, contrary to some reviews on here. The way that they have turned this company around over the past five years is remarkable. They also go out of their way to make every employee feel comfortable. They know your name and really care about you and your needs/concerns. Before my manager was hired they were there for me and worked with me personally on a daily basis. Speaking of my Manager, the Controller, he was awesome. We worked together daily and were able to build a great friendship. My other coworkers were great as well! The open floor plan of our office makes it easy to interact with all departments. From day one everyone was super friendly and helpful. They are genuinely excited when a new team member comes on board, no matter the department. It is truly a family-like atmosphere at Amazingmail and I have created friendships that will last a long time. Another pro is the quarterly bonus and the office party. Basically you get your bonus, review the quarter's successes, and enjoy the treats that are provided. If you are fortunate enough to work for AMI then you will absolutely LOVE it there!!

There aren't many downsides to AMI. A few of us tried to make Fridays Bring Your Pet to Work Day but that didn't really work out for obvious reasons!

Great people, supportive atmosphere, small company with opportunity to learn and influence company decisions. Really enjoyed working with my team members there.

Toxic leadership environment. The CEO and EVP co-lead the company and are constantly fighting in front of employees. They joke about it, but it really does wear on everyone and impact the attitude and overall environment. They shout and scream in meetings in front of employees and in conference rooms/offices. I personally was placed in the middle of their arguments many times, and felt very uncomfortable -- it was like they were each demanding my loyalty. In meetings, I often felt I couldn't fully express my opinions on points they disagreed on. Additionally, processes were incredibly inconsistent and miscommunication among team members + between the sales and marketing teams was a constant issue throughout my time there. Very frustrating.
