Great company - Recensione dipendente - Sales Development Representative (SDR) presso Amberdata

Many companies in Fintech or crypto can be toxic, but Amberdata is absolutely the best place I've ever been employed. Shawn (CEO) and Tongtong (COO) are incredible leaders and everyone has complete trust in them and the mission. Working both fully remotely and flexibly is fantastic, and there are workspaces for those of us who want to use them. I've seen lots of promotions and there are always ways to find more responsibilities! Great place to grow at.

Not really a con, but as a start-up you should be prepared to move as fast as the crazy crypto space!

Remote work Some really great coworkers who were honestly some of the smartest people I've ever met

Toxic work environment Avoid if you want work/life balance, expect to work all hours and weekends (you're at leadership's whim). C-level and senior leadership joke about putting people on PIPs. Several times I heard senior leadership make blatantly ageist comments about coworkers behind their backs. "Unlimited" PTO is capped at 3 weeks (if you're lucky). Often people work when they're on PTO - it was the expectation when I was here. Overall negative outlook. The C-Level execs are aggressively negative and take it out on their staff of only ~60 people. Layoffs happened and most likely will happen again.
