My experience working at Hong Aik Engineering Pte Ltd was challenging due to the company’s toxic work environment. Despite being a small team, the office atmosphere is often filled with gossip, politics, and micromanagement. New employees receive little to no proper training or guidance, which makes it difficult to perform well. When mistakes occur often because of this lack of support they are quickly spread among colleagues rather than addressed constructively. This creates an atmosphere of blame rather than teamwork. The HR manager frequently belittles newcomers and take credit for others work while speaking negatively about employees behind their backs. Respect is lacking, and the workplace often feels hostile with frequent shouting and a lack of collaboration. Overall, the company struggles with poor management, low morale, and a lack of genuine support for staff. If you are looking for a positive and respectful work environment, I would advise exploring other options. This is a local family company. So choose wisely
