It was a disappointing experience. I was motivated by the job and the politics involved, but it quickly became clear that they didn’t care about us at all. The pay was low, and they expected us to work hard, no matter the conditions. But what really got to me was how they treated us like we were disposable, knowing full well that we’d be laid off after the election season. The director kept his distance from the trackers, like he knew we were just a temporary asset. And whenever we asked about the future, he’d never give us a straight answer. The company vibe felt dishonest, and honestly, disgusting. They do what they’ve got to do, but it’s all about what’s best for them, no matter who gets hurt in the process. The trackers were so upset when we all got get go. I cared about the work and was passionate about the politics but they use every single one of us until they don’t need us anymore.
